Last night was the first meeting of the sewing subclub,
After some bobbin difficulties, (Susan or me didn't know how to use a drop in..) things went smoothly...
We made the rice heat therapy bags from the tutorial on Sew Mama Sew.
I am glad we were able to finish up the bags, so the gals had something to take home and feel some accomplishment :)
Here are the finished bags, I made mine up before to bring as a sample..
And the sewing gals- Nicole, Me, and Janey. (let me know if you don't want your picture posted here!)Susan was all too willing to be the one to take the picture so she didn't have to be in it..
Next month's should be a lot of fun, we have Christmas stockings planned as our project! Now i just need to make a few more up for samples!

Man I love drop in bobbins, that's all I'll use I hate front loads. If there's still confusion next month with it I'll def be able to help you guys figure it out!
Oh, oops! I mean the were front loads! and the older kind of machines too! That's why it was so difficult!
I totally need to find a sewing club to join. Lord knows I need lots of sewing help. What's a drop in?
You should check your local craft stores and see if there is anything local, and if not get one going!!
