Handmade Christmas Gifts

I have got some sewing done this weekend. I skipped out on watching a game last Sunday in favor of two hours of uninterrupted, quiet sewing time. It was great to get stuff done, but it was weird to feel unoccupied with the wee ones running around.I have been working on a women's wallet, I am keeping the orange one for myself :) The button on the front is for decoration, it came from my grandmas button jar. (inside picture here.)
I made up these two wallets for my Mother in law, and my comadre. I have had this loteria fabric in my stash for a while, after Joree was nice enough to share.
I made up two children's aprons for my sister to give as Christmas gifts to 7 year old boy, and a 9 year old boy.

I think the Spiderman one is great for a boy, and these little penguins are just too cute.

Tomorrow Kiki has a Christmas party and does a secret Santa exchange, and I was lucky enough to get (as one of my names) a little newborn boy, Colin.
I made up the shoes and taggie blanket to coordinate, and hand embroidered his name. After you have one child, special baby items like this are so few and far between... I also lined the shoes with fleece, since this winter is already proving to be so cold.
I still have a few more people to make gifts for, but posting pictures will have to wait until after they have received their gifts!

Cute wallet pattern. Is it from a book or a tutorial?

Love the blanket Beth! I looked to see if you had any for sale on etsy but didn't see any. Are you up on taking orders? No rush. Let me know.
